Semaj Inge to be an Owl

Three-star 2005 prospect Semaj Inge will not be able to sign a national letter of intent until the spring signing period, but the 6-foot-4, 179-pound combo guard from Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, N.J., is ending his recruitment today with a press conference this afternoon where he will announce his intentions to sign with Temple University and play for legendary coach John Chaney.
"Semaj is headed to Temple," said Inge's mother Angela Inge. "He is going to announce it at a press conference today.

"He also liked Georgetown and West Virginia was getting involved. Penn State was also recruiting him, and Boston College called the other day as well as some other schools. An offer from Temple was just too good to pass up. He will get to play for a legendary coach and go to school close to home where we can watch him play. He just thinks that Coach Chaney is the best coach in the world."
So far this season, Inge is averaging 19 points and 5 rebounds per game for his 4-1 Woodrow Wilson squad. His play at the Nike All-American Camp this summer, however, caught the attention of coaches and Rivals.com. Playing in his natural point guard position at the camp, Inge played extremely well against the likes of Louis Williams. Playing with both intelligence and athleticism on both ends of the court, Inge scored, distributed the ball and was a defensive stopper.
Inge does have some help in the backcourt at Woodrow Wilson from his twin brother James Inge. James, a 2006 prospect who is averaging 15 points per game, may very likely end up at Temple also according to his mother.
"Right now James is just concentrating on his season," said Mrs. Inge. "But down the line, I'm sure he would want to go to Temple and play with his brother."
