Over the weekend, Boston College coach Steve Donahue and his staff hosted a pair of Californians. Monday afternoon they landed their first when Ryan Anderson committed. Monday night, they got their second when Lonnie Jackson selected the Eagles as well.
Jackson, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Valencia (Calif.) High saw a perfect match of academics and hoops.
"The reason I picked Boston College is because its the best of both worlds academics and basketball wise," Jackson told Rivals.com. "The coaching staff, campus and the style of play was a perfect fit I couldn't turn down."
Long and wiry, Jackson is among the top wing scorer's and deep shooters on the West coast. The three-star prospect is also excited to be joining his friend Anderson.
"It's really cool that me and him get to go (together)."
