Sources tell us tonight that Shane Power, who played the past two seasons for Iowa State in the Big 12, will be transferring to Mississippi State of the SEC.
Power was unavailable tonight for comment. But sources tell us that Power has started giving the word to the coaches involved in his transfer process.

Power took official visits to New Mexico, Mississippi State, Virginia, Pittsburgh, and Notre Dame. Power, a 6-5, 210-pound forward who is transferring from Iowa State, previously mentioned Wisconsin and South Carolina at one time during his transfer process.
Power had a terrific sophomore season in the Big 12. Power, a native of Crown Point, Ind., started all 31 games last season, averaging 13.6 ppg and 4.5 rpg. Power was a honorable mention all-Big 12 pick. Power, who led Iowa State in steals with 37, was also second on the team in assists with 73.
