Sean Dockery Flattened By Jason Fraser

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Chasing Elijah Ingram around the basketball court can be a dangerous pursuit. Illinois Fire point guard Sean Dockery found that out the hard way on Saturday at the D.C. Summer Pro Am basketball tournament.
Late in the second half's Fire's 77-71 loss to Ingram's T1T Playaz, Dockery was flattened by a Jason Fraser pick which occurred right in front of the Illinois Fire bench.

On the play, Dockery was just getting back on defense and was running with his head down. Fraser stood right in front of him and Dockery ran into the 6-9 forward and collided with Jason. He tumbled to the court, hit his head hard, and did not get up for a bit.
Dockery stayed down as his worried dad looked on. The Fire officials at first felt it might have been a dirty play. By all accounts, Fraser's pick was a clean one.
Dockery eventually got up. He was checked by medical personnel on hand. It was determined he did not have a concussion after banging the back of his head. Dockery did return to the game.
As a show of good sportsmanship, Jimmy Salmon escorted Fraser to the Illinois Fire bench to express his best wishes to Dockery and to make sure the talented point guard was okay.
