Sean Banks, a 6-7, 190-pound swingman from Bergen Catholic High School in New Jersey, averaged 17 points and four rebounds last season. Sean played for the Tim Thomas Playaz this summer.
He is one of the rising stars in the Class of 2003. Banks can drill the open three as well as convert slashing buckets. The spindly junior from Bergen Catholic is an all-around offensive threat capable of handling the ball and scoring in the post.
Sean definitely has the skills to be a top 50 national prospect in his class. Likely he will rank in the top 25 or higher. Banks
matches up favorably with some of the elite prospects in the Class of 2003.
Early on in the process, Sean is hearing from North Carolina, Syracuse, Louisville, St. John's, Seton Hall, and Duke. "I've been thinking about colleges a little bit. I'm
thinking about making a decision next summer," Banks said. "But I am open."
