Scotts signature is in

The talk of a Mike Scott commitment to Virginia has circulating for some time. Now it is official that the power forward from Hargrave Military Academy has not only committed to the Cavaliers but has in fact signed with them.
"He and his daddy actually signed during the early period, but his dad didn't want to send them in until they had a chance to sit down and thoroughly talk it over." said Hargrave head coach Kevin Keatts. "With Mike here at Hargrave, he needed to go home over the Thanksgiving Holiday to have a chance to talk it over with his family."

Scott, 6-foot-8, 215-pounds, originally committed to Temple as a 2006 prospect.
At Hargrave, Scott had performed well before spraining an ankle early in the National Prep Showcase. Long and athletic, Scott also has an impressive skill set.
"Mike can score in a variety of ways," said Keatts. "He can shoot it to the three-point line and is skilled in all the other ways."
Clemson, North Carolina State and Wake Forest were all involved with Scott, but as Coach Keatts put it, Scott just fell in love with the situation at Virginia.
