Scott gets to the point

Four-star prospect Rickey Scott knew he found his fit when he heard what position one SEC school wants him to play.
"All the other schools said it doesn't really matter what position you play," said Scott. "But Arkansas immediately said we want you to be our point guard. That was the difference between them and the other schools."

Arkansas expects starting point guard Courtney Fortson to be NBA bound by the time Scott arrives.
Scott, 6-foot-3, 195-pounds from Irving (Texas) Macarthur School, was also closely considering Missouri and had Baylor, Kansas State and Texas Tech on his school list.
The No. 75 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, Scott joins fellow combo guard Mardracus Wade in Arkansas' 2010 recruiting class.
Rickey Scott scouting report:
A strong athlete, Scott can move between both the point guard and shooting guard positions. Not necessarily a shifty ball handler, Scott is strong with the ball and a good decision maker. His primary method of scoring is off the pull up jumper. On the other side of the ball, he is a lockdown defender on any perimeter position and is a proficient rebounder.
