Schools tracking Dower

Osseo (Minn.) High School forward Sam Dower began to catch the attention of coaches with his play during the high school season. He only picked up more recruiting momentum with his positive play this past weekend at the Next Level Ballers National Tournament.
"Iowa, Gonzaga and SMU were at every game we played," said Dower's travel team coach Marquis Watts of Net Gain Sports. "Iowa State, Wisconsin and Indiana are showing a lot of interest as well. Coach Crean calls as much as he is allowed to and really wants to get him on campus."

Colorado State watched Dower, 6-foot-9, 210-pounds, in open gym on Tuesday. And a number of mid-majors have offered, including St. Louis and Northern Iowa.
"Sam was tough from the start of the tournament to the finish," said Watts. "He was attacking the glass and shooting the three. As a face up four, he needs to get stronger. But the huge strides he has made over the past year and amazing."
