Schools jumping into Jennings sweepstakes

There is a flurry of activity around five-star prospect Terrence Jennings now that he has opened up his recruitment. According to Jennings and his coach at Durham (N.C.) Mt. Zion, Maryland is still his top school but there are a number of top programs lining up to recruit the 6-foot-10, 225-pound athletic forward.
"Florida and West Virginia are coming in to see him," said Mt. Zion coach Antonio Fozard. "Louisville has been in. USC, California and Kentucky have all called me about him. And Oklahoma State and Oklahoma both want to recruit him.

"Maryland is still leading, though, and if he goes to the ACC, it will be Maryland. He just never had a full visit to Maryland. Then he came to Mt. Zion and realized that he had a good chance at qualifying, it made him take a closer look at his situation."
Now the big question is who will Jennings visit besides Maryland, whom he is scheduled to visit the first weekend in October.
"I'm not sure how all the visits will work out," said Fozard. "But Terrence did say he wants to visit Florida, Kentucky and Louisville."
Jennings is the No. 15 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
Terrence Jennings scouting report:
A top notch athlete, Jennings runs the floor extremely well for a post player. He is also a strong offensive rebounder and shot blocker on the defensive end. His offensive game is not just limited to around the rim as he is developing a face up game as well. Gaining more strength and defensive rebounding are areas that need to improve, but there is no denying Jennings' tremendous upside.
