Schilb Has High Interest

Blake Schilb, a skilled 6-7, 195 pound combination/power forward from Rantoul H.S. in Rantoul, Ill., will attend Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H. in the fall. He also has high interest from some high division one programs too, according to Brewster coach Jason Smith.
"DePaul, Marquette, Nebraska, South Florida, Bowling Green, Buffalo and Canisius are just some of the schools interested in Blake," Smith said.

Schilb enjoyed a very productive spring playing with the Ft. Sooy No Limit program. That has been important for Schilb's notoriety, since he only played in a handful of games this past season at Rantoul H.S.
Schilb played in roughly eight or nine games this past season, averaging 22 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks per contest.
Last summer, Schilb had interest from programs such as Western Kentucky, Butler, Xavier, Purdue and South Florida. He performed well with Marvin Mennenga's Illinois Downstate Warriors program at the Hoosier Shootout last year in Indiana, deriving quite a bit of looks in the process.
A ruggedly built big man who can put the ball on the deck and face up from the perimeter, Schilb has been a major factor in Ft. Sooy's success this spring.
Schilb said he has a 2.3 GPA and scored a 20 on the ACT, so he should be able to get through the NCAA Clearinghouse next year.
