Santa Clara nabs a third three-star prospect
Coach Kerry Keating is quietly putting together a formidable 2009 recruiting class. Pomona (Calif.) Diamond Ranch power forward Chris Cunningham is the third three-star 2009 prospect to commit to Santa Clara.
"I believe Coach Keating is a great coach who will help develop my game," said Cunningham. "He is going to take us to the tournament and make Santa Clara a competitive program year in and year out."

A strong student, Cunningham chose Santa Clara over interest from California and Stanford.
He joins Raymond Cowels and Niyi Harrison in the Broncos' 2009 recruiting class.
