Santa Clara lands Texas forward

The class of 2011 is loaded in the state of Texas with several five, four and three-star prospects. Sunday night, Santa Clara bagged a three-star of their own from the Lone Star state when Karim York selected the Broncos.
A long, slender and skilled 6-foot-7 power forward from Del Valle (Texas), York made an impression this summer running with ATX-Farley out of the Austin area.

"I just wanted to let you know that Karim York committed to Santa Clara," said ATX coach Tim Farley. "He committed on Sunday."
York should provide head coach Kerry Keating with a versatile forward prospect. He is quick near the rim, can shoot with some range and has lots of untapped potential.
