Santa Clara lands second three-star big
Just a few weeks ago, Santa Clara pulled off a recruiting coup when they invaded the state of Texas and landed three-star power forward Karim York. Thursday night, Kerry Keating's crew added another three-star to play on the interior with York when they locked up Robert Garrett.
A developing big man from Sacramento (Calif.) High, Garrett will bring size and strength to the West Coast Conference. A legit 6-foot-10 with a strong frame, he's a grinder on the interior and holds his position to be an effective rebounder.

Offensively, Garrett is still developing but has good hands, is light on his feet and has soft touch.
Assistant coach Dustin Kerns was key in the recruitment of Garrett.
