Sani Ibrahim Update

Sani Ibrahim, a 6-11 center from the Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, has played well over the past couple of weeks, according to head coach Steve Smith. "He did a very good job for us at the Prime Time tournament," Smith said. "Sani has really made some great progress on the court and he is working just as hard in the classroom."
Smith doesn't discuss specifics of any student/athlete's academics, but our sources tell us that Ibrahim can still play on the college level if he decides to a prep school.

It's because of the above reason that many colleges still keep in contact with Sani or show interest with Ibrahim through calling his AAU people or Smith at Oak Hill.
Smith told us that Alabama, West Virginia, Illinois, Georgia, and Indiana are expressing interest in him. But in recent days West Virginia lost its head coach. So this will likely change Sani's thoughts as of right now.
Ibrahim will have to showcase his skills in the Sonny Vaccaro All Star game next month if he is to have a legitimate chance of perhaps jumping from high school to the NBA. Ibrahim is unlikely to make the McDonald's All American game.
