Sani Ibrahim Making Some Progress

Sani Ibrahim, a 6-11 center from the Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, has made some progress in the classroom and also continues to show improvement on the court.
Ibrahim dropped in 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in limited action against Coastal Christian on Tuesday night. "Sani has really improved since the beginning of the year," Smith said. "He is working hard on all parts of his game and in the classroom."

It still remains a question mark whether Ibrahim could land somewhere at a four year college. "There is one school that says they could possibly take him," Smith said. "A school from Louisiana. But I am not sure if that is possible right now."
This school is not a high division one school, according to our sources. And you need to be a partial qualifier to sit out a player. Ibrahim is working on both ends to meet NCAA academic requirements. Smith does not discuss details of academic issues facing his players.
Smith told us that Alabama, West Virginia, Illinois, Georgia, and Indiana are still expressing interest in him. "He still is interested in them," Smith said. "So nothing has been ruled out."
