Sanchez schedules official visits

Wednesday is the last day to sign a National Letter of Intent, but Michael Sanchez isn't in a hurry to meet the deadline. In fact the 6-foot-8, 235-pound power forward from Springdale (Ark.) Har-ber High School is planning to take three more official visits this spring.
According to Sanchez's father Bert Sanchez, he will leave Tuesday to visit Colorado. The following weekend, he will trip to Lexington. After these two trips, an official visit to nearby Arkansas is in the works.

After suffering knee problems over the past year, Sanchez was slated to attend Findlay Prep School in Las Vegas. Attending prep school is still a possibility, but Sanchez's strong play during the April evaluation period has schools hungry to have him in uniform next season.
Wake Forest, whom Sanchez recently visited, is the fourth school on his list.
This weekend Sanchez is playing in the Wallace Prather Memorial Tournament with his Atlanta Hawks travel team.
Michael Sanchez scouting report:
With a physique ready for the rigors of high-major basketball, Sanchez is nothing short of being a bull in the paint. He relentlessly attacks the rim with all his moves and pursues the ball off the glass. Solid but not overly athletic, Sanchez's greatest strength is drawing contact and getting to the free throw line.
