San Francisco wing will enroll early

Back on Memorial Day weekend, Rex Walters and his staff at San Francisco landed a guy who could help them when Charles Standifer committed. As it turns out, Standifer will be able to help out the Dons much sooner than expected.
Rather than spend a second year in prep school or as a greyshirt, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard from the Sacramento area has signed a grant-in-aid now and will be on campus as a freshman this fall.

A physical and athletic lefty who can attack the rim, Standifer was quite impressive while hitting the floor for Play Hard Play Smart at the recent Fab 48 in Las Vegas. In addition to attacking the rim, Standifer also proved to be a shooter capable of knocking down open looks to the three point line.
Had San Francisco not been able to lock him up now, it's a pretty safe bet that some West Coast high majors would have checked to see just how strongly he was committed.
