Sallie is Big 12 bound

Roburt Sallie is no longer available. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound guard from Sacramento, Calif., verbally committed to Nebraska over the weekend.
The three-star guard recently visited the Big 12 school and after considering Maryland and Wake Forest, Sallie decided that his game would shine the brightest for the Cornhuskers.

"He felt the comfortable there when he was on his visit for the Kansas game earlier in the year and just decided that was the place for him," Patterson head coach Chris Chaney said. "He feels like he can come in the there and start right away. I think he felt the most wanted there and it's a place where he feels like he can make the most impact at."
Chaney said Sallie also felt comfortable with Jamel White, a current Nebraska freshman. The two played together last season at Laurinburg.
Sallie shined in his final season at the Patterson School in Lenoir, N.C., averaging 13 points, seven assists and four rebounds on a roster that is filled with Division I talent. Sallie originally signed with Washington out of high school but failed to qualify, thus his two years with Chaney at Laurinburg and Patterson, respectively.
