Salisbery Discusses Temple Decision

Dustin Salisbery, the strong and aggressive 6-4, 200 pound swingman from Bishop McCaskey H.S. in Lancaster, Penn., has signed a national letter of intent to attend Temple University in the fall.
Salisbery, who played with Aaron Wilson's Championship Sports program this past weekend at the Charlie Weber DC Capitol Invitational, told Rivalshoops.com that he picked the Owls over offers from Penn State, Rider and Loyola (MD).

"Temple might sit me out next year," Salisbery said. "I will try to fit in and help the program get back to the NCAA Tournament."
Salisbery took an official visit to Temple on Apr. 24 and 25th and signed with the Owls after completing his trip. He held a press conference on Monday at McCaskey H.S. to announce his intentions.
In Salisbery, the Owls have landed a sleeper who put up impressive numbers on the high school and travel team circuit. Blessed with a strong frame, good athleticism and shooting skills, Salisbery can be a tough matchup for opposing defenses.
He can post up smaller perimeter players on the low block, or take bigger defenders out on the wing and drive to the basket.
Salisbery is still working on qualifying academically, and should he fail to make it, he would sit out at Temple next winter.
