Ryan Moore, a 6-4 combo guard from Dr. Phillips High School in Florida, made an impression on many onlookers over the past couple of weeks at the AAU Showcase and the AAU Nationals held inside the Wide World of Sports Complex.
Moore seemed to gain confidence each game. "I was trying to work hard on my ballhandling this summer," Moore said. "I think I made some improvements in that part of my game."
Moore also proved he could be the go to guy when Tallahassee Wildcats (his AAU team) needed a big basket too. Moore hit several key shots over the past couple of weeks to help John Atkins team win some games. Moore also said he is wide open in his recruiting process.
"Right now I have heard from mostly schools in Florida," Moore said. "Central Florida, South Florida, and Florida State."
It's likely when Moore returns today from the Nationals that he will be hearing from many more schools.
