Russell fielding offers
Tremayne Russell is a solid mid-major point guard prospect whose stock is on the rise. Russell, 6-foot-1, 165-pounds out of South Dade High School in Homestead, Fla., already has several offers on the table according to South Dade coach John Herron.
"Tremayne has offers from Stetson, Florida Atlantic, Bethune Cookman and Florida A&M," said Coach Herron. "He's also getting interest from Tulane, Massachusetts, Louisiana-Lafayette, Jacksonville and Western Carolina."

Already academically qualified, Russell averaged 18 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds and 3 steals per game last season for his 18-7 team.
"Tremayne is very quick to the basket," said Herron. "He can handle and shoot with both hands. He knows how to get separation. His greatest strength is his pull up jumper.
"Also, he is young for his grade and could still grow a couple inches."
