Rush still mulling over options

Although some media outlets have reported that Brandon Rush will forgo attending college next year and train at the IMG Academy in Florida, Rush's AAU coach John Walker claims that training at IMG is just one of many options that Rush is exploring right now. As the 6-foot-6, 202-pound small forward trains with his brother Kareem Rush in California, more colleges have begun recruiting Rush since his withdrawal from the NBA draft.
"Nothing definite has been decided," said Coach Walker of the Rocktown AAU club in Kansas City, Mo. "Training at IMG is just one option that Brandon is looking at. He is also looking at the NBA's developmental league.

"Of course, college is an option too. Kentucky, Arkansas, Illinois, Oklahoma, Missouri, Florida and New Mexico are all now recruiting him. The new schools on that list got involved after he withdrew from the draft."
According to Coach Walker and other sources, Rush is college eligible with a 2.4 GPA and a SAT score of 1030.
Brandon Rush scouting report
Rush is gradually developing the mentality and skill of an elite prospect. A tremendous north and south athlete who can run and jump with the best of the country, he is also a strong one-on-one player who can get to the basket and finish difficult shots. A good offensive rebounder when he puts in the effort, his passing and defense need work and he needs to get stronger.
