Rush planning another visit

After taking a visit to Illinois late last week, Brandon Rush is ready to take another trip before making a decision about his future. The 6-foot-6, 202-pound small forward from Kansas City, Mo., will step foot on the Kansas campus some time this week. There is a chance that the visit will take place today, but nothing has been decided as of yet.
After spending the last two years at Mount Zion Christian Academy in North Carolina, it was originally believed that Rush would declare for the NBA draft. However, after testing the NBA waters, the 6-foot-6, 202-pound small forward decided to pull his name out of the draft.

After visiting Illinois late last week, Rush has decided to spend a day on the Kansas campus one day this week. Glenda Rush, the mother of Brandon Rush, confirmed that her son would in fact be visiting the University of Kansas, but did not know of a specific date.
"Brandon is going to keep all of his options open," said Glenda Rush. "He's just looking and wants to visit Kansas. Bill Self said any day would be fine."
It's believed that Illinois, Indiana and Kansas are the three teams to beat for Rush. After his visit to Kansas is complete, Rush will likely be ready to make a decision shortly after he returns home.
Brandon Rush Scouting Report: Rush is gradually developing the mentality and skill of an elite prospect. A tremendous north and south athlete who can run and jump with the best of the country, he is also a strong one-on-one player who can get to the basket and finish difficult shots. A good offensive rebounder when he puts in the effort, his passing and defense need work and he needs to get stronger.
