Rudd making the most of senior season

Every year there are unsigned seniors whose stock takes off heading into the spring. Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep forward Victor Rudd is one of those seniors who will have a lot of options come April.
Rudd, 6-foot-7, 200-pounds, rattled off a list of a list of eight schools who have offered him, including Memphis, Marquette, Oregon State, Arizona, UNLV, Providence, Gonzaga and South Florida. Memphis, Providence and South Florida are the latest to join the fray.

Although Rudd maintains he is wide open in his recruitment and without any favorites, he did name three schools who he wants to make sure he visits. Arizona will definitely get a visit, although a date has not been set yet. Gonzaga and Oregon State are the other two likely visit destinations.
Rudd commented on what he is looking for in his future school.
"The first thing is that I want an opportunity to play right away," said Rudd. "I also want to go where I have a good relationship with the coach. And all the schools on my list play up and down basketball. That is the type of system I want to play in."
Averaging 15 points and nine rebounds per game for Findlay Prep, Rudd is an attractive prospect because of his athleticism, versatility and ability to play inside and outside.
Along with the challenge of choosing a school, Rudd also is working on qualifying academically. His core curriculum should be in place, and he will take the SAT in March and then the ACT in April.
