Ross Has 7 Offers

Matt Ross, a 6'7'' 256 pound power forward/center from Walt Whitman High School in Huntington Station, New York, on Long Island, has a gaggle of mid-level programs tailing him as the fall approaches.
Ross has heard from Marist, Quinnipiac, Iona, Fairfield, Central Connecticut, Kent State, Farleigh Dickinson, and Rider. All but Kent State have offered. Quinnipiac is his most aggressive suitor.

"I don't have any visits planned, but I'd be interested in visiting Iona, Quinnipiac, Farleigh Dickinson, and Marist," said Ross.
Ross competed at the 17 and under Nationals in Orlando and The Charlie Weber Tournament in West Virginia with The Long Island Road Runners, coached by Dave Edwards. Matt will likely attend Wayne Simone's Connecticut Select Tournament at Sacred Heart University in September and The Charlie Weber Tournament in Maryland in October with The Roadrunners.
Matt averaged 14 points, 15 rebounds, and four blocks at Whitman this past season. He carries an 85 average in the classroom. The affable big man will take the SAT for the first time in October.
