Ross Cuts List To 5

Matt Ross, a 6'7'' 256 pound big forward/center from Walt Whitman High School in Huntington Station, New York, has pared his list down to five schools.
Ross is considering Iona, Marist, Quinnipiac, Fairfield, and Farleigh Dickinson. All of the schools have offered. He has already visited Iona unofficially with his high school teammate Antoine Agudio, and recently hosted the MAAC program for an in-home visit. The staff from Marist recently came for an in-home, as well.

Ross told RivalsHoops.com that he will wait until around November before he decides which schools he is going to visit. It is worth noting that Iona is also recruiting his teammate Agudio, and Antoine's recruitment could impact Ross's, depending on how it shapes up.
Ross played this summer with The Long Island Roadrunners and Dave Edwards, competing at The Charlie Weber Tournament in West Virginia and The 17 and under Nationals in Orlando.
Matt's high school teammates are participating in the IS8 League this fall, but thus far Ross hasn't come out, as he is nursing an ankle sprain.
Matt carries an 85 average in the classroom. He'll take the SAT on October 12th.
