Rogers Miles Visit Oklahoma

According to Kevin Rodgers, the No. 36 ranked player in the class of 2005, the No. 30 ranked player in the class of 2005 Calvin Miles and he are definitely set on playing together in college. The Team Texas teammates spent yesterday afternoon together on an unofficial visit to Oklahoma.
“Calvin and I took an unofficial to Oklahoma yesterday,” said Rogers, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound power forward out of South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas. “We just stayed for the afternoon and met some players that were working camp for Coach Sampson. It was a really nice visit. Coach Sampson was very nice, and the facilities are great.”

There has been a lot of talk about whether or not Rogers and Miles, 6-foot-6, 210-pound small forward out of Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas, will be a package deal, especially after Rogers was unable to take the SAT the past weekend and will not be able to take it until early October.
“I think we are dead set on playing together in college,” said Rogers. “After our first practice this spring for Team Texas, we just got really close and have been clicking ever since.”
“I could not take the test because they said the picture on my I.D. was too blurry and they could not confirm that it was me. So I will take the SAT in early October.”
Rogers feels like the duo will have plenty of time to take any necessary official visits in October in time to sign during the early period. The two will also have a chance to take a couple unofficial visits this summer.
“We will be able to take two unofficial visits to Georgia Tech and Kansas when we go to Atlanta and Kansas City to play in tournaments,” said Rogers. “We will just stay an extra day. After I take the test we will have time to take official visits during the rest of the month.”
So where does Oklahoma and the rest of the schools on the duos’ list stack up according to Rogers?
“I would say that Oklahoma is in the top eight,” he said. “Out of the top eight, Kansas, Arizona, Georgia Tech, and North Carolina stand out the most.”
“Probably after the NBA Camp, we will narrow down the list.”
All eight of the listed schools have offered both Rogers and Miles.
