Robinsons Buzzer Beats Jefferson Co
New York Gauchos guard Russell Robinson, ranked in the Rivals150 as one of the better players in the 2004 class, hit a pullup jumper as time expired to help his AAU team win the Peach Jam event, 52-50, over the Jackson Tigers.
Robinson, who led the Gauchos with 16 points, hit the jumper over two defenders from the Jackson Tigers. Sundiata Gaines added 12 points for the winners and teammate Ronald Ramon added eight.

Al Jefferson played strong in the middle. He scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. His teammate, Charles Thomas, was outstanding throughout this event. Thomas had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Now these players head home for a rest this weekend. Some will head out to Las Vegas for the Big Time tournament and others will play at the NIKE Showcase in Orlando, Florida.
