Robinson Wants To Visit Six

Rice High School star guard Russell Robinson finished his summer in terrific fashion -- scoring 10 points and tossing eight assists to lead his team to a victory in the Eastern Invitational All Star game yesterday at the College of New Jersey.
"I wanted to show this summer that I could play the point guard position," Robinson said. "I think I proved that this summer and also here today."

Robinson, who helped the New York City Gauchos to two big tournament wins this summer at the Peach Jam and Super Showcase, stated he would like to make a decision in the Fall.
"Georgia Tech, Connecticut, Kansas, Florida State, St. John's, and Kentucky are on my list," Robinson said. "I hope I can visit all of these schools before I make a decision. If it's possible I will do it. They all have an equal chance now."
Robinson has previously mentioned Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Seton Hall.
When asked if there were any other schools trying to get involved in the process, Robinson responded: "Yes. Pittsburgh and Arkansas are interested. They came by at my workout to watch me."
Is Robinson interested? "Yes. I won't rule out any school. I want to see what they are about before I make a decision."
Robinson was asked what was the most best part of the summer for him. "Winning the tournaments," Robinson said. "I don't take well to losing. And I know coaches want guys that want to win. I want to win no matter where I go. That's a big thing in my decision."
Robinson is currently listed as 46th best player in the 2004 class in the Rivals150.
