Robinson: UCONN Trip Was Great

One of the country's more outstanding guards, Russell Robinson of Rice High School in New York City, completed an official visit to Connecticut this past weekend. Robinson, a 6-foot-2 ballhawking defender, stated that his trip went well to the Storrs-based campus.
"It was great," Robinson said. "I liked everything about the visit. "The players were great. The atmosphere was good. It was good talking to coach (Jim) Calhoun."

Robinson, who starred for the New York City Gauchos this past summer at AAU events, indicated he was still willing to take more visits before he makes a decision. "I will take as many visits as I can," he said. "I visit Georgia Tech this week."
Robinson has also scheduled visits to Kansas on September 26th-28th and Kentucky on October 17th-19th. He is also interested in St. John's, Pittsburgh, Ohio State and Florida State. "I am thinking about taking a visit to Pittsburgh," Robinson said. "But I am not sure of that yet."
Russell is rated the 31st best player in the 2004 class in the Rivals150.
