Robinson ready for first official visit

Around this time a year ago, Forrest Robinson thought that he had his college plans figured out. He'd made an early pledge to Utah and figured he wouldn't have to worry about his recruitment.
But, by late November of last year, the 6-foot-9 power forward from Eastland (Texas) High had reconsidered and opened things back up.

Now, the skilled big man is ready to take his first official visit. This weekend, he'll make the journey to Lubbock to check out Texas Tech. He's also working on another visit to a school that recently offered, USC.
"Yes, I'm going to Lubbock this weekend," Robinson told Rivals.com. "I don't have any others set, I'm working on a date with USC."
A mobile big man who can stretch defenses with his shooting, Robinson hopes to have a decision in time for the early signing period but will wait if necessary.
"The most important things are good family between the team," said Robinson. "Good fan support, good atmosphere and a spaced out and up-tempo offense."
