Robinson Has Two Offers

Russell Robinson, a 6'3'' 175 pound guard who is arguably the top pure shooter coming out of New York City in the class of 2004, has two offers on the table in the early going.

According to Robinson, St. John's and Georgia Tech have offered. The hometown program has been keeping tabs on the junior for quite some time. Paul Hewitt's program has also made a point of scouring New York City for top talent. Tech was the first major conference program to spot Gary Forbes back in the Banneker wing's junior season.

Others who have expressed interest include Louisville, Kentucky, Syracuse, and Villanova.

Robinson possesses a pillowly jumper, good size, but also some savvy. He will travel with The New York Gauchos this summer, and participate in the Nike Invitational Camp.
