Robinson Has High Major Interest

Russell Robinson, a smooth 6-3, 175-pound shooting guard from Rice High School in New York City, has seen several high majors show serious recruiting interest early on his his process. Robinson, a member of the 2004 class, has listed Syracuse, St. John's, Georgia Tech, Villanova, and Kentucky as just a few schools of interest.

Robinson's shooting stroke is what makes him most appealing. Russell is one of the top marksmen in New York City. RivalsHoops.com has been impressed with his smarts and court awareness, too. Robinson sees the floor well and can hit the open man.

Robinson has not taken any official visits yet but it's likely he will start focusing more on his recruiting process once his season is concluded this spring.
