Robinson Decides
Russell Robinson, an outstanding 6-foot-2 guard from Rice High School in New York City, committed to Kansas today. "I had a great trip to Kansas," Robinson said. "I enjoyed everything about the visit. I liked the campus. I enjoyed meeting the coaches. I felt very comfortable there."
Robinson, a legitimate McDonald's All American candidate, also considered Connecticut, Kentucky and Georgia Tech. He had also taken official visits to Connecticut and Georgia Tech. His visit to Kentucky was cancelled.
Robinson is a tremendous offensive player in transition. He has the skills to handle the ball, distribute and take the ball to the basket. In addition, he plays both ends of the court. Robinson is a great in-your-face defender.
