Syracuse had led for Terrence Roberts from Day One. An obstacle was placed in front of the Orangemen when Roberts took his official visit to Maryland. Roberts has now made up his mind. He made his calls to the coaches. Many expect him to choose Syracuse at a 2:30 PM ET press conference.
Syracuse stayed patient and outlasted the other schools still recruiting Roberts. Roberts, an outstanding 6-8 forward from St. Anthony's High School in New Jersey, recently saw Maryland drop out after the Terps completed their five-man class. Terrence then started to think about his choice. "Virginia has given me something to think about," Roberts said earlier today. "Syracuse still leads but slightly."
Syracuse apparently has won this battle. Roberts would not confirm or deny he has made his decision or where he is going. But many believe he is headed to Syracuse. Stay tuned for tomorrow's announcement.
