Roberts taking his time

In no hurry to make a decision, lengthy small forward D'walyn Roberts of Duncanville (Texas) High School does mention a couple schools that have offered and others that have called recently.
"I don't have a school list right now," said Roberts, 6-foot-7, 185-pounds. "I'm still trying to sift through the process. Baylor and Texas Tech have offered me. And a lot of other schools are recruiting me. The most recent ones to call are Florida, Miami, and Arizona State."

Roberts, who averaged 15 points and 9 rebounds per game as a junior, expects to utilize some official visits before he comes to a decision.
"I should have a list by the end of the summer and then set some visits up from there," he said. "I'm in no hurry. I want to make sure I make the right decision.
"I'm looking for good academics and a school that likes to get up and down the floor. I'll go anywhere as long it's the right fit for me."
The No. 128 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, Roberts has the length and shooting ability coveted in a small forward. What he will be able to do with his talents at the next level is largely dependant on how much stronger he gets.
"I'm working hard at getting stronger," Roberts noted. "I've been hitting the weights hard since the season ended. I'm also working on my ball handling. Coach Johnson (Dallas Mustangs) is playing me on the perimeter this summer so that has helped a lot."
Roberts, who will attend the Reebok ABCD Camp, carries a 3.2 GPA.
