Roberts Shortens List

Terrence Roberts, the 6-9 forward from St. Anthony's High School in Jersey City, New Jersey, has put in some solid performances thus far this week at the ABCD camp in Teaneck, New Jersey.
Roberts seems to have his bounce back in his step this summer. And he has plenty of programs watching his every move at the ADIDAS camp. Syracuse and Florida have especially kept their recruiting eyes on Roberts as he impressives with his balanced offensive game. Roberts told us that those two schools are likely to get official visits in the Fall.

Yesterday, Roberts helped his team to a victory by scoring 15 points and grabbing six rebounds. "I have a shorter list now," Roberts told us. "I now have a top five of Florida, Syracuse, Villanova, Connecticut, and Maryland," Roberts said. "Illinois has been trying to get involved lately. So I will put them below my top five and see whether they stay seriously interested. I also have Rutgers on my list."
Roberts also said: "I may take five visits. I am not sure. Connecticut, Maryland, and Villanova are also on my list. I am not sure about Illinois and Rutgers. But I have seen Rutgers many times."
Roberts told us he is likely to try to make the transition from the center slot to the power forward position on the college level since Terrence has decent range on his jumper.
"I think that will be my position on the college level," he said. "If I am to play in the NBA someday, I will probably have to make the move to the small forward position."
