Roberts: Down To 2
Terrence Roberts, a 6-8 forward from St. Anthony's High School in New Jersey, told us today that Maryland called him this morning to inform him they will not be recruiting him anymore. "They called me about 7:30 (ET) this morning," Roberts said. "They told me they took the other kid (Ekene Ibekwe)."
Roberts told us he wanted to speak to his coach before his decision. "I was doing the right thing," Roberts said. "I also wanted to take another trip to Syracuse before I decided. I wanted to watch a Syracuse practice before I made up my mind."

Roberts told RivalsHoops.com yesterday he was leaning to making a commitment to Maryland after his great visit to the College Park campus. But Maryland had to make a split-second decision and took the first recruit to make a verbal. It was Ekene Ibekwe who grabbed it first.
"I should have a decision this week," Roberts said. "I will decide between Virginia and Syracuse. But I am leaning to Syracuse right now."
