Riverside Church Outdistances Life Center Academy
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. -- Riverside Church's depth and experience proved too much for Life Center Academy to overcome, and the Hawks emerged with a 95-81 victory on Sunday night at the East Coast Jamboree.
Life Center trailed by just three points at the half and hung around for much of the second half, but Riverside methodically pulled away from the Warriors as the game wound down.

Riverside opened up a 58-49 lead on a basket by Jermaine Maybank, and later extended to a 78-66 advantage on a jumper by Teddy Munford.
Lenny Cooke (pictured right) once again led the Hawks, tossing in 27 points, while Maybank added 24. Jason Stamper continued his fine play for Riverside with an 18 point effort.
UMass bound Mike Lasme led Life Center with 24 points in defeat.
