The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have landed their second Rivals150 prospect from the class of 2016.
6-foot-5 wing Josh Okogie from Shiloh (Ga.) High announced on Tuesday night that he will be staying home to play for Brian Gregory in the ACC.
Ranked No. 143 overall in the class of 2016, Okogie is an athletic wing who has a penchant for doing many of the little things that go unnoticed.
Okogie is a top flight defender, he finishes well in transition and during the summer he sacrificed some of his offensive game so that his grassroots team CP3 could play through five-star big man Harry Giles.
"It's home and it is in the ACC, the best basketball conference in the country," Okogie told Rivals.com contributor Dan McDonald when asked about his choice.
With Okogie in the fold, Tech is putting together a pretty good class. In addition to him they have landed four-star power forward Romello White who is one of the nation's best rebounders as well as three-star wing Christian Matthews who is another athlete with very good (6-foot-6) size for his position.
I just want to thank God for putting me in this situation. With that being said, I want to end my commitment and commit to Georgia Tech. 🐝🐝- Josh Okogie (@CallMe_NonStop) October 13, 2015
