Following these three, however, there is a shift in the rankings. Do-everything perimeter player Jelan Kendrick continues his ascension up the rankings, registering at No. 4. A potential point guard at 6 feet 6, Kendrick is a supreme playmaker with a unique feel for the game.
Brazilian big man Fabricio de Melo rounds out the top five after opening eyes at the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp with his skilled play both in the post and on the perimeter.
In the second half of the top ten, there are three new comers. Josh Selby secured the No. 2 point guard position and sits at No. 7 overall. Reggie Bullock, behind his athleticism and deep shooting ability, is now the top shooting guard and No. 8 overall. And the naturally talented Perry Jones is putting things together on the court and snagged the No. 9 spot.
Unranked to Four-Stars
Several players worked their way into the Rivals150 and earned an extra star over the last two months. Natural playmaker Keala King secured the No. 35 spot. Athletic, smooth shooting wings Justin Coleman and Rion Brown are also now four-star prospects. And post players James Johnson and Baye Moussa Kieta landed in the top 100.
High Risers
Stacey Poole is now a five-star after proving he is one of the top scoring wings in the class. His travel team teammate Patric Young is knocking on the five-star door. Versatile big man Michael Cobbins has impressive upside and a top 40 ranking. And heady, multi-dimensional forward Evan Smotrycz impressed in June and is now a top 75 prospect.
