LSU, Texas A&M stand out for R150 forward Josh LeBlanc

One of the more improved players in the class of 2018, Rivals150 forward Josh LeBlanc is going to be moving up in the next set of rankings.

An athletic combo who runs the floor and rebounds very well, LeBlanc has earned offers from TCU, Minnesota, LSU, Texas A&M, Georgetown and Florida Gulf Coast.

However, hometown LSU and Texas A&M appear to be moving towards the head of the pack.

IN HIS OWN WORDS

LeBlanc discussed how the Aggies and Tigers are making him a priority. He discussed how A&M uses the success of another Louisiana native Robert Williams as a selling point and also talked about how things have changed at LSU under new coach Will Wade.

"Texas A&M and LSU are making me a priority. Texas A&M they stay on it. They are always checking in, telling me about the school, asking me when I'm going to come up on a visit.

"They use that (Robert Wiliams) a lot at Texas A&M. They call us the boot boys and they want both of us.

"Coach Wade is cool. I went and watched (LSU) work out, I liked how they worked out hard. It's more serious, (Wade) takes it serious. They have to work out."

RIVALS' REACTION

LeBlanc saying during June that Texas A&M and LSU are at the front of his recruitment is no surprise. That has kind of been the word for a bit.

There is certainly a little bit of wiggle room for other programs to get in deeper with LeBlanc and he told Rivals.com that he would like to cut his list down to eight schools after July ends.

If LeBlanc does that and actually takes visits to programs other than LSU or A&M, we'll take another look, but for now it seems like those two programs are in great shape.
