We wrap up our series on the best of summer 2011 with our summer circuit all-star teams. The first team is led by five-stars Shabazz Muhammad and Andre Drummond.
Buzz: The top playmaker in the 2012 class, Anderson has a unique blend of length, vision and skill. He has been a stalwart at the point of attack for the Playaz travel club.
Buzz: There isn't a player in the 2012 class who brings more physical strength and heart to the court than Smart. On top of these attributes he is highly skilled and has a great feel for the game.
Buzz: Always a top talent, Muhammad has continued to develop his game and has established himself as the best player in his class. Muhammad has all the qualities of a top-flight wing player.
Buzz: Perhaps no prospect in the country made as big an impact on the travel circuit than McGary. With his relentless motor and array of physical attributes, he established himself as an elite prospect.
Events: adidas Invitational, Super 64, AAU Nationals
Buzz: Drummond was the most physically dominant player on the circuit this summer. His size, athleticism and broad skill package make him the top post prospect in the 2012 class.
Events: adidas Invitational, Great American Shootout, Super 64, AAU Showcase
Buzz: There really isn't anything this 6-foot-6 lead guard can't do on the court. Harrison is a physical presence on both ends of the court, can manufacture points and is an accurate passer on the move.
Events: adidas Invitational, Great American Shootout, Super 64, AAU Showcase
Buzz: A lethal wing scorer, Harrison is a sharpshooter from behind the arc and can attack the basket as well. Not just a scorer, he also has a physical and well-rounded game.
Buzz: Over the course of the summer, Parker was one of the most consistent elite performers. An athlete with length, Parker has all the scoring moves and is a relentless rebounder as well.
PF Julius Randle, Plano (Texas) Prestonwood Christian Academy (2013)
Events: Great American Shootout, Peach Jam
Buzz: Randle is nothing short of a load to defend. He has a strong low-post game, is a physical driver and has a jumper with touch. And his rebounding ability makes him a double-double machine.
Buzz: There wasn't a better rim protector than Noel on the circuit this summer. Beyond his shot blocking ability, Noel is a burgeoning offensive player with a broad skill package.
