Rising JR Named To US National Team

USA Basketball's 2002 Men's Junior National Team was named yesterday, four days into its training camp in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The USA junior team will compete in the July 24-28 Confederation of Pan American Basketball Associations (COPABA) Men's Junior World Championship Qualifying Tournament in Isla de Margarita, Venezuela. To be eligible for consideration for the USA Basketball Junior World Championship Qualifying Team, a player must be a U.S. citizen and 18-years-old or younger (born on or after Jan. 1, 1984).
The team is made up of seven graduating seniors, five rising seniors and one rising junior, Brian Johnson from the Washington, DC, area.
