Riley does not sign, re-opens recruitment

The early signing period came and went and Dashonte Riley is still holding a National Letter of Intent from Georgetown. The Rivals150 center did not ink with the Big East school last week.
The 6-foot-10 center from Detroit (Mich.) Country Day committed to the Hoyas in May but had second thoughts as the signing period drew closer.

According to his high school coach Kurt Keener, Riley decided to pass on signing with Georgetown and will re-open his recruitment.
"[Riley] just said after he returned from his official visit that he didn't feel like it was the right fit for him," Keener told the Washington Times.
"I know his mother felt that he had committed a little too early in the process. They discussed the situation after he returned from his official visit, and he called the staff at Georgetown recently and informed them he would be reopening his recruitment.
"My feeling is that it is now doubtful that he will end up at Georgetown."
Sources have indicated that Ohio State and Xavier will likely re-recruit the three-star big man. A number of other high-major schools have also inquired on Riley.
