Richards Will Sign with Kansas State

Frank Richards, a 6-2, 180 pound point guard from Olney Central C.C. in Olney, Ill., has committed to Kansas State.
Richards (pictured right) picked Kansas State over N.C. State. He had been slated to visit N.C. State the weekend of Nov. 3, but he canceled that trip and committed to the Wildcats' program.

JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com has confirmed this commitment with Olney Central Head Coach Jim Glash.
Richards is one of the better floor generals available in the junior college ranks. He opened the season this past weekend by scoring 23 points in a loss to Moberly J.C.
"He is doing a real nice job as he continues to learn the point guard position," Glash said. "He's really elevated his game. He's always been a young man who can score, but now he's become a true point guard who distributes the ball, knows when to shoot and not to shoot."
"And defensively, he's always been really good on the ball, and now he's getting better off the ball," Glash continued. "It's very legit him playing in the Big 12 Conference. He's definitely that caliber of player."
