Richard Francis Likely To Go Prep Or JUCO

Richard Francis, an explosive 6-3, 175 pound off guard from John Bartram H.S. in Philadelphia, Penn., was one of the top players on display at the Scholastic Play by Play Classic at Temple University.
Francis scored 16 points as the Braves held off Chester last Saturday night, 58-55.

The Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com had a chance to speak with Bartram Head Coach Lou Biester following the game, and he told us that Francis will need to attend prep school or junior college next year.
Biester said that Francis' GPA is below a 2.0, and he has yet to take the SAT. On top of that, he is not expected to graduate from Bartram in June.
Westark J.C. in Arkansas and Neosho County C.C. in Kansas have expressed an interest in Francis thus far, Biester said.
Francis is a smooth wing player with excellent hops who uses the dribble to free himself up for open looks. He glides to the rim effortlessly on drives, although at times he can be out of control on forays to the basket.
In addition, Francis is blessed with long arms and good form on his jumper.
Rivalshoops.com will keep you up to date on Francis' situation, so stay tuned.
