Reynolds Has Majors Involved

While most players enjoyed their moments in the sun at last week's NJCAA Tournament in Hutchinson, Kan., fate wasn't so kind to Grady Reynolds of Southern Union State College in Wadley, Ala.
Reynolds played in only one half of action for the Bison before going down with a knee injury in Southern Union's opener against South Plains College of Texas.

Reynolds told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that he had a torn meniscus and was planning to undergo an MRI exam upon returning to Alabama this week.
A 6-7, 212 pound jumping jack from Abbeville, Ala., Reynolds averaged 15.9 points and 9.3 rebounds per game for Southern Union, shooting 59 percent from the field.
Reynolds was injured early in the second half of the Bison's game against South Plains, and had to be helped off the court by his teammates. While there was some initial thought he might suit up again during the tournament, Reynolds' injury kept him off the floor as Southern Union took sixth place out of the 16-team field.
Southern Union Head Coach Ron Radford told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that Reynolds is being looked at by St. Bonaventure, Ole Miss, St. John's, Alabama, Auburn and Kansas State.
Reynolds took two early trips to Southern Miss and San Francisco, and those programs are also still involved with the sophomore forward.
