Report: UW Recruit Faces Charges
Wisconsin rising freshman Marcetteaus McGee, a 6-1, 165 point guard from Chicago's Farragut High School, faces a preliminary hearing Aug. 13th after being arreested last week on felony sexual assault charges according to a story in Wednesday's Badger-Journal.
McGee had been taking summer classes at the Big Ten school. Last season at Farragut, he averaged 16.0 points and 6.0 assists and was a unanimous all-city selectione. He signed a national letter of intent during the spring 2002 signed period.
