A newspaper report published today in the Clarion-Ledger in Mississippi said that 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward Charles Rhodes has committed to Mississippi State.
Rhodes, from Lanier High School in Jackson, Mississippi, has the ability to hit the jumper and also damage you in the low post. Rivals.com recently rated Rhodes as the 71st best player in the 2004 class. The rankings were released in the past 48 hours on RivalsHoops.com.
Rhodes previously mentioned interest in Alabama, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Syracuse, and Texas. The Longhorns dropped out a few weeks back after landing Mike Williams, 6-foot-8, of Alabama.
